One of our 32 inch TVs is now redundant from full time use and I am thinking of wall mounting it above my desk in my office. It is an old Westinghouse 32 inch (720 only) but it has HDMI so no worries there. I’m looking for something quick and easy preferably from amazon due to holiday gift cards, like this one.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Do I need to measure anything to make sure this will work?

Look at the back of your TV - does it have VESA mount holes? They should be 200, 400, or 800mm apart in a square pattern. Due to the size, I’d bet on 200 or 400mm.

It has mounting holes, but they make a rectangle and not a square. Its 100 mm vertically and 200 mm horizontally.

If you have the same 32" Westinghouse 720p TV that I do (2006?ish vintage) then that one should work if the arms adjust on an angle to allow for the non-VESA mounting on the back.

That shouldn’t be a problem. Pretty much every screen uses vesa patterns and screws, and the mount you are looking at is pretty flexible.

That sounds right for the vintage, I measured the screw holes and arrived at 200x100 which is supported.

Fits VESA 200x200, 200x100, 100x100, 75x75, and 50x50 mm mounting patterns (The VESA mounting patterns are the distances (in mm) between the four screw holes on the back of the TV)

I forgot about the 100x200mm.

Most mounts are pretty flexible as long as they support the specific pattern your display uses.

Bigger TVs are generally 800mm square, computer monitors are generally 200mm square...
